Matriarch is our Triple India Pale Ale. Our main house IPA is, Mystic Mama. When crafting our TIPA I knew it had to be the mother of all mamas, so I poured in the hops, increased the malt and added some sugar to boot, and named it the Matriarch. Originally brewed in 2009, this beer has evolved into one hoppy mutha! When consumed fresh, do not aged, there are huge mango, pineapple, and apricot notes that bombard your nostrils. Flavor follows suit with the aromas, and the bitterness is firm. If you are lucky we might even have a keg of the double dry hopped version on draft at special events.
