Is Lewis Carroll writing beer names? What is the jibberish? Actually it’s Dark Horse’s signature IPA, Crooked Tree, spelled backwards! That’s how they roll for their limited release single hop variants. Which hop is this? Edacsac happens to spell Cascade backwards, and that’s the only hop they used in this West Coast style I.P.A.’s. Often described as “grapefruit” cascade hops give this beer an excellent fruit flavor that finishes dry, crisp, and clean. It will pour a nice deep copper color with a bit of haziness.
