Barley’s – Saints and Sinners

Saints and Sinners is an Oktoberfest made with German Pilsner and Munich malts, and American toasted malts, balanced by German Perle hops. It is copper in color and an easy drinking 5.2% with an aggressively toasty malt flavor and aroma.

It’s conception was inspired by a Lutheran Pastor friend, who informed us of their churchwide assembly here in Columbus. Martin Luther was a friend to brewers who is largely responsible for the widespread use of hops in beer. Luther describes Christians as “simultaneously saint and sinner”, hence the name.
